Scottish Model Engineering Trust

The Trust was formed in 2001, formerly the Perth Society of Model and Experimental Engineers which was founded in 1935. Originally to promote engineering excellence through the provision of workshop facilities which were beyond the scope of model engineers in those days. Over the years the activities expanded to cover a wide range of disciplines. Through regular exhibitions of their work and lectures the members have sought to share the hobby with the public. Its success can be measured by the number of non engineers who have joined and built award winning designs.
