Ashmanhaugh Light Railway

The Ashmanhaugh Light Railway is a 7¼ inch gauge railway, set in the beautiful North Norfolk countryside, within earshot of the whistles of the Bure Valley Railway and within sight of the Bittern Line trains. It really is well worth a visit, a must for any rail enthusiast.

King’s Lynn and District Society of Model Engineers

The King’s Lynn & District Society of Model Engineers was formed in 1970, to bring together all those in the area interested in Model Engineering. Like many Societies, a large portion of our membership is interested in miniature railways, and one of the Club’s earliest aims was to build a track to run the models on. The first track was situated in the Walks at King’s Lynn, although redevelopment of the area meant we were moved to Lynnsport in 1992 as a ground level track, and over the last couple of years work has concentrated on improving our facilities at this new site

Norwich and District Society of Model Engineers

Norwich and District Society of Model EngineersOur Society has over 100 members, but we are always pleased to welcome new people. Are you interested in things mechanical, are you a steam enthusiast or perhaps your interest is in clocks? Do you want to meet people with similar interests? Why not pay us a visit at one of our meetings or look in on any Tuesday or a Sunday afternoon in the Public running season. We have a comfortable Club House in Eaton Park, Norwich, where you can join us for a cup of tea and a mardle. A phone call to one of our Committee members will elicit any specific information that we have not provided here.
