Our present available engines range from an ever reliable Romulus, a petrol 0-4-0 and 2 electric loco’s. The rolling stock consists of a pair of sit in coaches, some sit-astrides and a variety of permanent way wagons.
We operate on an oval of track of approx. 300 yards long the majority of which is at sea level but dips below mean sea level in a few places. This is probably unique in the United Kingdom except if you visit a mine.
7 1/4″ Gauge Society.
The 7¼ Gauge Society is the international organisation for people interested in 7¼ and 7½ gauge miniature railways
The Society is a group of friends from all over the world. We send a magazine to members four times a year which is full of excellent items about railway topics that are not available elsewhere. It contains a wealth of news, exhibition dates and invitations to private railway open days
