The BMFA is the body delegated by the Royal Aero Club to be responsible for all aspects of model flying in Great Britain. The BMFA normally has around 780 clubs affiliated to it, with a combined membership from clubs and individual members of over 36,000. Membership brings many benefits, including 3rd party liability insurance of up to £5 million.

Our club is dedicated to promoting the hobby and sport of radio-controlled model aircraft flying.
We pride ourselves in providing training for those new to the hobby as well as assisting members
to pass their BMFA ‘A’ and ‘B’ certificates.

Aldershot Model Club

Marston Green Model Engineering Club (MGMEC) was formed in 1945. The majority of our members are into radio control models, mainly fixed wing aircraft. Some of our senior members are into making things from scratch and trying new ideas.

Carlisle and District Model Engineering Society model engineering club, members interested in all aspects of model engineering, also run the miniture railway at Hammonds Pond, Carlisle, track gauge is 3inch, 5inch and 7 1/4
