Established in 1981 the Banbury and District Model Engineering Society was formed in order to create a forum where local model engineers might come together on a regular basis to discuss progress with their engineering projects

See our unique collection of Great Western Railway steam engines, coaches, wagons, buildings and small relics; and a recreation of Brunel’s broad gauge railway. Join us in our rural setting based around the original 1930s engine shed.

The Railway Centre is open every weekend throughout the year.
