Harrow and Wembley Model Engineers

Harrow and Wembley Society of Model Engineers have a permanent ground level multi-gauge track network, consisting of 31/2, 5 and 71/4 inch gauge and a continuous run. The the minimum curve radius, 54 ft (16.5 m). The length is 1200 ft (366 m) continuous or 2270 ft (692 m) out and back to terminus.

Ickenham and District Society of Model Engineers

After its formation in 1948 the Society led a nomadic life until acquiring a site in the centre of Ickenham where it built and opened its Clubhouse in 1955. In 1969 the Society opened the first section of its ground level track (3.5 and 5ins gauges) which now includes a terminus station, Ickenham St Giles, two signalboxes, an engine shed, two tunnels and a booking office. Alongside a comprehensive workshop has been developed.
